If you're unable to select the Demon Assassin in single player, try running Demigod one time as administrator. 

 

Run As Administrator

 

Then check to see if you can select him for single player.  You do not need to run as admin each time to play, but running it just once as admin may clear up that issue for you.

This finally worked for me, but I had to actually connect to the internet, host a game and start it as the DA before he was selectable in single-player.  Thank you very much for the tip

I've tried all the fixes in this thread thus far (running admin, Multiplayer game hosting, reg edit's, Script downloads) etc. And still I cannot select the new Demigods. I just bought demigod over impulse. It's downloaded V1.2 - any ideas ?

In the registstry, Local Machine -> Software -> Stardock -> Wow6432Node -> Stardock -> Drengin.net -> Demigod -> DLC

There should be ten items other than Default.  Object 9 and 10 are marked 0 in their Data, while 1 - 8 are marked 1.

1 - 8 are the default Demigods you play.  9 and 10 are the two new Demigods.  Setting them to 1 will enable them.

 

[ I run Windows 7 64 bit ]My problem is there is no "DLC" under Demigod in that location. I run Windows 7 64bit as well. I'm also running a fresh copy that was downloaded today. I think they screwed something up when they integrated the latest patch into the game.

 

I agree with everything n0e wrote. I don't have any entry in either of the places mentioned (I have vista) and I've tried the multiplayer thing and both the new characters are greyed out. My friend purchased the game about a month ago or so and had no problems. Something must be up with the latest patch for people who have bought the game recently.

 

This is pretty frustrating.

Same here - no DLC entry in registry and also incapable of even selecting the characters. Sad panda.

hi Grithin, same here with my installation. Already send an email to Stardock support. Hope they will answer soon.

Also went to IRC, but no one could help me. Maybe we need to play together online and check it out. Don't forget to play as admin. ^^

To everyone that has been having the issue of being unable to use occulus or demon assassin, I think i've found the solution. Was just reading through the patchnotes, turned out stardocks released occulus as an "unlockable". Go to https://store.stardock.com/product.aspx?productid=ESD-SDE-W005 and just enter the email address associated with your stardocks account. Log in to a multiplayer game, and it should be fixed. Cheers.

Thanks khairne89, I've tried all the other suggestions cept the registry alteration to no luck but that link worked for occulus. Unfortunately daemon assassin is still locked. I altered the link to https://store.stardock.com/product.aspx?productid=ESD-SDE-W004 even and got lucky, as it looks like the same page for daemon assassin. Unfortunately the "add to account" won't work for me for this second page. Perhaps it will work for others?

I'm honestly astounded that accessing the full product is so hard. If it matters my copy was downloaded via impulse.

Got this game yesterday and yes, they are locked for me too. Run as admin, no success. Tried the registry thing, no DLC there to change.. Hosted and joined multiplayer games.. nope, nothing 

 

Any new tips for this issue?

Sometimes the registration doesn't update appropriately.  You should just shoot an email off to support@stardock.com and let them know you can't access the 2 new dgs.  They will sort you out.  There are a few other threads on the forums that provide some other tips on how to get them unlocked... but I'd just take the 2 minutes and send off an email.  That way if you can't sort it out, they'll fix you up.
